When I come back home from a long day at work, depending 
on my mood, I unwind to the mellifluous tunes of Mozart or the 
cathartic angst of Alanis Morissette.

On weekends I go out photographing things around me; 
nature, cityscape, people. Sometimes I go for a facial or, you 
know, one of those 'housekeeping' activities we women do. If
I 
feel a bit lazy (or if the weather sucks) I stay at home; reading 
James Patterson or laughing my heart out to an episode of 
Friends. I can all teary eyed when watching touching moments 
in The Lion King or La Vita es Bella. 

If I could be in any profession other than my own, it would be a 
travel show TV host. Imagine, being paid to travel the world; 
immersing yourself in various cultures and new places. That 
would be so amazing!
I love learning languages; I learnt basic French and currently 
am picking up German language.  

The most adventurous thing I've ever done is Bungy Jumping 
from 145ft and I would love to try tandem skydiving someday.  
Despite my seemingly "carefree" description of myself, I am

serious in settling down. 

While I'm no Jamie Oliver, I can bake you a scrumptious 
Shepherd’s Pie or cook you a bowl of mouth-watering, 
exotically spicy, Asam Laksa. I paid my way through undergrad 
by working as a baby sitter (to two hyperactive boys) and I was 
never fired from that job, so I guess I am not too bad in that 
department!

On the weekends, you like to spend time with me doing
'family' 
stuff: picnics, long walks at the beach, doing home 
improvement stuff, watching movies.

You don't run away when we try to discuss serious issues. 

You respect me as a woman, a wife, a mother to your children 
(Allah willing). 

You accept me and my family as we are. We live our life based 
on the guidance Allah has set in The Qur'an. We remind each 
other to stay on the right path. You can listen to my joys and 
pains of grad school (yeah, I am a graduate student). 

You have your eyes on me (and me only) and I have my eyes 
on you (and you only). 

You can love deeply and be loved. You don't live in the past 
and expect the best of the future. You can smile even when 
soaked on a wet day. 

You are willing to follow me to Germany (temporarily) and settle down
in Malaysia for good.
